The Jed Foundation's 7th Annual Gala

The Jed Foundation's supporters and friends made June 4th an evening of Infinite Possibilities for America's college students.  Because of their generous support, we exceeded our goal of raising a million dollars for our programs that are working to prevent suicide and reduce emotional distress among college students. 

We were proud to present awards to Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy (D-RI), Stephen Friedman - General Manager of mtvU, and Tony Zook - President and Chief Executive Officer of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.  The evening was hosted by Claire Shipman of ABC News and featured a performance by Grammy and Tony Award-winning singer/songwriter Duncan Sheik.
